Hoofprint is pleased to present two new silkscreen posters by NICOLE MARROQUIN and TERESA PANKRATZ. These prints are the first in an ongoing series called “Resistance Workshop/We Are One.” Half of all proceeds will go to the Pilsen Housing Co-op and The Hurricane Maria Community Recovery Fund.

Additionally, we are excited to announce three new editions by RICARDO ANGELES, TALYA MODLIN, and GEORGE PORTEUS! These prints are juicy—come see what these expert draftspersons have manifested on lithographic limestone for your viewing pleasure!

Event Schedule:
All weekend:
Ceramic work by Nicole Marroquin featuring planters, small sculptures, and “F THAT” cups and mugs—caffeinate yourself with a mug that takes no $#*!

Saturday:
1-4pm Lithography demonstration featuring new work by George Porteus
8-11pm Afterparty

Sunday:
Noon-2pm Etching demo with ELISE PARISIAN
2-4pm large woodblock demonstration featuring RICARDO SERMENT’s epic woodcut, “Soñando con casa (Dreaming of Home)”

Hoofprint is a printmaking studio and gallery located in the southwest corner of Pilsen in Chicago. We use all major printmaking techniques: lithography, screenprinting, intaglio, and relief, as well as darkroom photography. Our services include hourly and monthly access to artists in the community, private lessons and one-on-one print sessions, screen exposure, and steel facing for copper plates. Our catalogue of published prints includes works by over 30 artists, from small, postage stamp sized collagraphs to monumental woodcuts.
